In His Own Words:

Why do you want to serve as a Wildwood City Commissioner:                                                                          We campaign under the mantra of Progress Made, Promises Keep. Together we are mission driven to lower taxes, grow commerce, strive for efficiency and hold ourselves and those who work for the community accountable. Commissioner Harshaw, myself and now joining us, Mrs. Dara Baltuskonis are the only team to show proven results in just less than 16 months.

In this short time we have addressed issues that were more than a decade old. We have embarked on reforms that have Lowered Taxes and Reduced Flooding. We have entered into public private partnerships that have brought a $2 million Boardwalk Grand Entrance as well as a $1 million Boardwalk Bike Ramp. We have converted a $10 million liability into a nationally recognized Solar Park. This 32 million dollar ecological wonder will be at virtually NO cost to the taxpayer. Solar Bay will create tax revenue, green energy and jobs.

We have become agents of change and cannot abandon our goals or the people that have put their faith and support behind our cause. We must now be allowed to continue the great work that we have begun and allow the City to enjoy the monumental successes that have been put into motion.

In her own words:

During my career I have attended approximately 400 hours of courses and training in the Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement field, including Contract Negotiations.  I am a strong believer in education, and intend to continue expanding my education. I am currently serving on the Wildwood Planning and Zoning Board, and I am the Vice Chair of the Wildwood Citizens Advisory Board.

I applaud the progress made by Mayor DeMarzo and Commissioner Harshaw. They have lowered taxes and made great strides in bringing reforms to our local government. I too will continue the efforts they have made and support their continuing commitment to lower taxes. City government needs to be held accountable to the taxpayers and just like us the government needs to live within a realistic and affordable budget.

I bring a unique perception and particular set of skills that will benefit the community. As Senior Correctional Officer I will be able to use my knowledge of civil service to add another level of input and approach to unique issues. As a member of the Planning/ Zoning Board and Vice Chair of the Community Advisory Board I have listened and participated in solving the problems as well as helping to facilitating the growth of our community. I have raised my family in the City of Wildwood, sent my children to Wildwood High School, and I have enjoyed all the love and support of this community. I have a proven track record of success and I have pledged my honesty, diligence and energy to the City of Wildwood. I am proud to join them in driving taxes down and creating commerce while bringing a balance to our great City.
